Individual Supervision

Practitioners within the human services sector are often called on to deliver high quality interventions with limited resources and support. These interventions are often for people with very complicated needs and within a constantly changing political and economic context. A difficult and challenging situation for trainees and experienced practitioners alike.

Supervision has a major role in facilitating the consolidation of competent clinical skills and the continuous updating and adaptation of these skills as the evidence-base grows and circumstances change.

At Leftbank, I respect practitioners as adult learners who wish to engage in a reflective process that supports them to learn most effectively from their actual lived experience.

I aim to facilitate participants to ‘discover’ and develop their personal practice and give meaning through their existing strengths while helping them to overcome blind spots and less well-developed skills. Doing what works.

I supervise mental health professionals: psychologists, social workers, and counsellors.
