Irene Krauskopf is a registered psychologist with over twenty years of experience in a wide range of psychological services for individuals, couples, families and groups. Irene has worked in a diverse range of professional counselling and clinical environments including community based organisations, higher education (Tafe and University), industry, the public sector and private practice.

Irene has special interest in identifying and responding to eating disorders and body image issues. In addition to many years of counselling and supervising in private practice, she has developed and facilitated eating awareness and body image for women at the Council of Adult Education.

She was involved in the research and development of a manual for vocational counselling and has developed and conducted training programs for counselling professionals across Victoria.

Currently completing her Masters of Psychology (Clinical), Irene has been facilitating group treatment programs for eating disorders, particularly binge eating disorder. In addition, her research thesis is the development and execution of an innovative group program focusing on the prevention of post-natal depression for at risk first time mothers.

Irene’s expertise and experience in counselling includes individual as well as relationship and family counselling. Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Systemic Therapy, Mindfullness Skills, ACT and Existential Therapy are skills that Irene utilizes in her practice and assists supervisees to develop.
